Break down & Sample Videos

P90X+ (P90X Plus) just hit the streets in January of this year. Building on the popularity of P90X home workout system P90X+ gives users even more workouts, to add to their arsenals. I'm still in the middle of P90X and I can say thus far it's a really really good program. There is a lot of crap infomercial workout systems out there, but if you do a little poking around you soon find out that P90X isn't one of them. P90X+ is meant for P90X grads, and for good reason. These workouts will whip pants off of the P90X routines.

Here's what you're in for:

Interval X Plus

It's a lot like Cardio X plus but super-charged. It aims to push your heart-rate into 3 speeds, medium, recovery and all-out

Kempo Cardio Plus

It cranks Kempo X up with more advanced moves to shed away the fat, you're going to build your stamina and agility while also learning a little more self defense along the way!

Upper Plus

This intense upper-body routine engages all the muscles from of your core chest, back, biceps, triceps, and shoulders, in true P90X+ (P90X Plus) form. You might have a hard time reaching for your water bottle after this one :)

Total Body Plus

This P90X+ workout adds new moves entirely. Your muscles get pumped up and then then recuperate in stages. You keep repeating it untill you have nothing left. You're going to feel this one folks!

Abs / Core Plus

This is higher level ab and core workout that will have you "hanging, sitting, standing, and in "plank" position" If you're looking to ramp up your results in the midsection, even faster than with Ab Ripper X, Abs / Core plus where it's at.

Muscle Gain Truth: Go for the regular P90X first. I have been playing sports all my life and would consider myself in great shape, but the regular P90X is enough to kick my ass. Until i can get though a whole week or two completing every exercise and ever rep(including the ad ripper X which is ridiculous) I'm not upgrading.

I'm starting my third week of p90x+ and my left shoulder has been feeling extremely tired for the last week making it difficult to do push ups properly. I'm affraid to take a day or two off to rest because I don't want to lose motivation. Also i dont want to dog the exercises. What should I do.

Take a day or two off so that you CAN do all the exercises; listen to your body whether it's telling you to eat good foods or take a day or two off, your body is smarter than your brain (which may seem counter-intuitive).
